A: Our tasting room is the best place to buy our wines. We are in a few package
stores and fine restaurants throughout Arkansas. If you have a recommendation
of where you would like to find our wines or would like to know the nearest

Q: Where is Chateau aux Arc & how do I get there?
A: Chateau aux Arc is nestled in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains on Interstate
40 in Altus, Arkansas. Take Exit 41, the Altus Exit, and go south on Hwy 186
for 2.3 miles. We are the first winery and vineyard on your right. We are open
everyday from 10-5 except on Sundays 12-5.

Q: Who did the Chateau aux Arc logo and what does
it mean?
A: The owners mother, Joy Duncan, designed our logo. It represents a never-ending
grapevine that is made up by two Bs, one forward and one backward that
in turn make the H. The H represents the last name of the owner, Audrey House.
Q: Where did the name Chateau aux Arc come from?
A: When you look up the word chateau in the dictionary it means
the French word for a country house by a vineyard. Aux Arc is the
original spelling of the Ozarks. Together it means House with an Arch.
Q: What is Dragonfly Ranch?
A: Dragonfly Ranch is the name of our 11-acre Chardonnay Vineyard. Rightfully
named because when you visit our tasting room in the summer expect to get a
glimpse of one of these magical little creatures.
